Simeon Michel was born on August 26, 1953, in Pilate, Haiti. He started to draw at an early age and later developed his unique style characterized by flamboyants that made him recognizable by collectors all over. His artwork depicts the vibrant Haitian countryside. He exhibited in Haiti and the United States.
